Betsy Schuermann was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. She studied Music Education at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Betsy moved to St. Louis, Missouri to teach elementary music. She married and raised two daughters.
Betsy moved to Florida 30 years later to care for her parents. She joined Family Church Downtown in West Palm Beach, Florida and began to learn more about serving Christ through short term missions trips. Betsy has been a part of missions outreach to Alaska, Guyana, and Cuba.
Currently she serves as part of the leadership team for CC4M Inc.
Betsy recently relocated to Dallas, Texas to be near her granddaughters. Betsy is active and serving at First Baptist Church of Lewisville. She worships there with her family and sings in one of the few remaining church choirs.
Jesus set the example for us all to serve others, so I want to use the talents God gave me by serving others.
